About the massage therapist

 

In 2005 Wilmer graduated at the top of his class from the Florida College of Natural Health located in Orlando, Florida. Afterword, Wilmer continued a life-long quest to improve and advance his knowledge in the Healing Arts by attending numerous workshops and CEU classes all over the country. His quest did not stop there but he continued to travel the world refining and deepening his skill set. His travels took him to England, Italy, Spain, and Lituania learning advanced spa techniques. Wilmer even spent time in Thailand perfecting and learning the Art of Thai Massage at one of oldest schools. There he was recognized with a certificate awarding him high honors from the faculty of the Thai Massage School in Chiang Mai in 2012.

Since he began his career in bodywork, Wilmer has been driven to excel and focus on the needs of his clients so they might achieve optimal health and well-being. Wilmer has always been driven by an inner strength and self-confidence along with a deep concern for his clients.

The work he engages in to date is highly focused on pain issues and limited range of motion disorders. To this end, he brings an array of skills from deep tissue, to myofascial release work. He studied under one of the best therapeutic teachers of deep tissue  myofascial release, Art Riggs, who is an exemplar in the field and highly regarded by his peers. Art has also published extensively in the area of myofascial release.

Over many years of experience, Wilmer has seen just about everything. You can rest assured that you are in good hands. Wilmer is a master at excavating the human anatomy and finding problems others cannot locate. People have described his work as “world class” and his healing abilities are exemplary.
